I am a freelance music journalist and writer based in Los Angeles. My specialty is exploring the humanity behind art and creation.
Over the past seven years I have racked up bylines in publications like Billboard, Beatportal, SF Weekly, and Miami New Times, interviewing artists like GRiZ and Aluna, and covering some of the largest music festivals in the world including Coachella and EDC Las Vegas.
Most artists have trouble telling their stories on their own, and that’s why I’m here. After speaking to creators at all phases of their musical evolution I can hone in on the unique power behind your craft. Every artist has something only they can say. It’s your job to express that through music. It’s my job to find the words.
